LIMITED WARRANTY (Does not apply to SCULPFUN products)

Octo Aquatics™ makes no claim to the suitability of this product for any specific use. The end user is solely responsible for determining fitness for a particular use, and for installation. This product is sold as a component of a custom aquarium installation.

This product is warranted to be free of defects for the lifetime of the product. We will, at our discretion, repair or replace your product at no charge during this period. Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, improper care or alteration, damages to persons or other living entities, or acts of “God”, such as floods and earthquakes. Coverage terminates if the original purchaser sells or otherwise transfers the product. This warranty excludes claims for incidental or consequential damages, loss of revenue or profits, loss of business, or other financial loss in connection with the warranty problem.  Damage during return shipping will not be covered under this warranty.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state or country to country.

 

REFUNDS/EXCHANGES

Refunds and exchanges will be considered a case-by-case basis.  Once a custom order has been started, there will be no refunds.  Items damaged during transit may be covered by the terms below.  Faulty items may be covered by the terms above.  Approved returns may incur a restocking fee.

ITEMS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If an item is damaged in transit, we will replace the item free of charge and cover the cost of shipping the replacement. Please keep the damaged product and packaging, as the carrier may inspect the package to evaluate it for insurance purposes. If your product arrives damaged, you must contact us within 24 hrs from arrival date or we cannot honor the return. Emailing pictures of the damage is required. You may be required to send back the damaged product.  Please open the package and inspect items for damage immediately upon arrival. If signature is required on shipment, DO NOT sign for it if damage is found. Once signed for we cannot offer a replacement.

RETURNS

In the event you are required to return items to me, you must do so within 10 calendar days otherwise you agreed to have your card charged for the full product price. Approved returns may incur a restocking fee.

Octo Lid™:

Keep your Octo Lid™ as dry as possible! The number one cause of plastics warping for this purpose, is exposing the plastic to water or moisture. It cannot be stressed enough to keep your lid as clean and dry as possible. If you have too much surface agitation and it’s causing water to splash on the bottom of your lid, try turning down the flow, or re-positioning the flow pattern itself.

Make sure your Octo Lid™ is resting the top of all four sides of your aquarium! Do not run any power cords underneath the lid to the outside of your tank. The lid needs to sit as even as possible around all four sides. Cutouts should be used for cables.

Plastic scratches VERY easily! You must handle/clean your Octo Lid™ with extreme care.

Clean your Octo Lid™ with RODI water and a very soft micro fiber cloth.

Not following the above guidelines will void your warranty.

 

Acrylic: Be cautious when handling acrylic items as they may have sharp edges.  Sharp edges and corners can be knocked down with fine grit sandpaper.
