Made from high quality cast acrylic, these are the perfect solution for feeding your alien-creature-like things.

Glass up to 1/2″ or 3/4” thick.
My products are made to order, custom! Please allow up to 10 business days for fabrication time for most products. Because my products are made to order, fulfillment time can rarely take longer. Full custom orders can take up to four weeks to complete. Please let me know ahead of time if this may be an issue. Shipping prices listed are to the contiguous U.S. Please contact me if you live elsewhere and want a shipping quote. Because my products are handmade and/or hand assembled, there may be small irregularities (fingerprints, marring, hair, etc) which will not effect the performance of your product.
Plastics are fragile which can break and scratch easily. Always handle with care. Surface can be cleaned with a very diluted soapy water mixture and a soft microfiber cloth.
This product is warranted to be free of defects for the lifetime of the product. We will, at my discretion, repair or replace your product at no charge during this period (See the Warranty page for more info.)

My seahorses like it, but it does not work well functionally. I slide it up two feet to load the food in the top, and then back down where the seahorses feed, and the tray rotates and food flies everyway. Would be better if the magnet was rectangular so I could keep it stable. Right now I have to use a magnetic cleaning scraper below it so stop if from turning upside down as I position it for seahorses. Great idea, just not great execution yet.

if used on glass under 1/2″ thick it will not rotate. you should also not be moving it up and down. place it where you want it, then use a baster to place the food in the tray.

This feeding trough has been awesome for my seahorses. Makes feeding them so much easier. Thaw, rinse and target feed straight into the trough. Easy peasy. I placed it in a lighter flow spot and I don’t even need to turn my pumps off.

I received my seahorse feeding trough in excellent time and it arrived in great shape and is exactly as it is described and pictured on Octo‘s website. I am in the process of setting up my seahorse aquarium so I ordered this item well in advance. My tank is already well seasoned sand I am in the process of getting Gorgonians well established in my tank and am hoping to begin introducing seahorses sometime in August. Except for the gorgonians and some mushrooms and a Mandarin that is already happily enjoying the aquarium, it will be a seahorse only aquarium. I am looking forward to installing the feeding trough and training my seahorses to eat from it and enjoying many hours of watching. Once it is all in place, I‘d happily update my review and include some pics. For now, I would say the feeding trough is a great, high-quality product.

This is my second seahorse feeding trough for second seahorse tank. The seahorses learn fast how to use it, it keeps the food right there for them. Easy to use and clean up left over food with turkey baster. Great quality. Totally recommend this over the 3D printed ones out there!
