Place your lid on a very soft surface to avoid scratches.

Step 1: Place the top plate of the port (inset cutout facing up) on top of the screen.  Insert one post (not screw) through the top plate and screen hole.

Step 2: Install the bottom plate and push a screw into the post.

Step 3: Repeat on the opposite side.

Step 4: Install the remaining posts and screws.

If you run into a piece of screen blocking one of the holes, just insert as many as you can carefully, then come back and cut the screen so the opening is clear.  By now you should have enough tension on the screen.

Step 5: Cut out the screen from the opening.

Almost perfect! Precision made and easy to install and looks fantastic. I only wish there was a way to lock the lid on, so that it doesn’t fall out when I remove the mesh and forget to remove the lid. It would also be great if the tube had an optional mesh bottom for frozen food dispersion.

It’s legit, does not weigh the frame down, does not pull the spline out. Those were my main concerns. I added a 5/32 hole just below my water line to help water circulate inside. Now it works perfectly. Thank you for the free sticker octo! I’m a sucker for reef stickers and that’s coolest one I’ve gotten so far.

My octo feeding port looks great and was easy to install! Much more robust design compared to other products out there. Extremely pleased

Feeding port is sturdy and well built and installation was easy. The items I have gotten have surpassed 3d printed stuff I have ordered elsewhere. Matt even added a custom piece to the order. Will def purchase products from Octo again.
